Richard S. Lehmann, Partner

Mr. Lehmann provides creative, practical and value-added counsel to complex legal and business problems. His transactional practice concentrates in (i) all aspects of commercial real estate law, including structuring and negotiating purchase and sale agreements; retail, office, and industrial leases; ground leases, land development, financing, entity structuring and workouts; and (ii) general corporate and business matters, including purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and joint ventures.

Mr. Lehmann’s clients range from national companies trading on the New York Stock Exchange to regional and local businesses. His clients include homebuilders, developers of large residential communities, shopping centers, office buildings, hotels and golf courses, governmental and quasi-governmental entities in public/private partnerships.

While in law school, Mr. Lehmann was an Articles Editor for The Fordham Law Review. Mr. Lehmann clerked for the Honorable Judge David N. Edelstein of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York from 1983 to 1984. Prior to joining Rosen Neuberger Lehmann LLP in 1986, Mr. Lehmann was an attorney in the tax and real estate departments at Venable, Baetjer and Howard, Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Lehmann is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Mr. Lehmann serves on the boards of several cultural and religious organizations.
