Ms. Haas represents clients in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including retail, office and industrial leasing, real estate development and finance, sales and acquisitions, condominiums and homeowners associations, and hotel development, including the use of historic tax credits and EB-5 (immigration) funds as a financing tool. She concentrates her practice in the areas of complex mixed-use projects, public-private partnerships, ground lease transactions, homebuilding, the creation of condominium and homeowners' associations, retail leasing and contract negotiations. Her clients include national and regional institutional clients and public institutions, as well as entrepreneurs.
Ms. Haas has been recognized among the "Best Real Estate Lawyers in Maryland" by the Baltimore Business Journal and the “Maryland Super Lawyers.” She is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the Real Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. She is a past Chair of the Real Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Advanced Real Property Institute, and the Section's Legislative Liaison Committee.
From 1985 to 1986, Ms. Haas served as law clerk to then Chief Judge, Frank A. Kaufman, of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
